What is a credit?

Credits are cost-normalized units of research. A run on a pricier model uses more credits than the same work on a cheaper one, so you always pay for what you actually use. Bring your own model key to run unmetered.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. The Free plan lets you run four-master research right away. Upgrade only when you need more credits or seats.

Can I use my own API keys?

Yes. Add your own Anthropic / OpenAI / Gemini key in Settings to run unmetered (you pay the provider directly), and your own market-data key (FMP or Alpaca) for live prices.

Can I change plans later?

Anytime. A team owner can switch plans from the Usage & Plan page; changes take effect immediately.
